Who says you can't surf in the Central Valley? Well, soon you can! The FlowriderT at Packinghouse Pier is McDermont's very own Surf Tank! Experience the thrill of riding a huge wave in Lindsay, California! Check out the following video of a FlowriderT machine in action!
Flowrider™ Rides are sold in one-hour increments. The price for one hour of Body Boarding (Boogie boarding) is $12, and one hour of Flowboarding (surfing) is $18. The maximum number of participants per hour is 20 for Body Boarding and 15 for Flowboarding. Groups can reserve the Flowrider™ exclusively for one hour at a price of $250 (up to 30 people). Riders must be 42” tall to Body Board and 52” tall to Flowboard and each participant will need to sign the waiver. The summer hours of operation for the Flowrider™ are (from August 1-August 17) Sunday-Thursday: 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday: 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and Saturday: 9:00 am to 11:00 pm. Beginning August 18, the Flowrider™ will be open Monday-Thursday: 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday: 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Saturday: 9:00 am to 11:00 pm and Sunday: 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
The Big Kahuna Surf Club is a monthly membership that McDermont fans can purchase. For $39.99 per month, each participant receives his or her first hour of the month free and then the remaining rides are half price. To join, fans must pay the first two months up front, fill out a membership form and sign the waiver. The first 50 members of the Big Kahuna Surf Club will also receive a free rash guard.
